DICCA

In the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the University of Genoa, excellent research is carried out in the fields of structural mechanics, solids and fluids, seismic engineering, geotechnics, geomatics, marine hydraulics and hydrology, materials engineering, electrochemistry, industrial chemistry, catalysis, development and modeling of chemical, food and biotechnology plants and processes.

At DICCA are active the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree courses in civil engineering and chemical and process engineering, and the Master’s Degree in building engineering-architecture, environmental engineering and engineering for building retrofitting. These courses are assessed at the highest levels in national and international rankings.

As part of UniGe's Gender Equality Plan (GEP), DICCA began developing its first Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) plan. Originally planned with reference to gender equality only, the document evolved within DICCA into a more comprehensive analysis covering all aspects of EDI.
